Keystone Security Group is built on the unmatched experience and professionalism of our leadership team, comprised of five partners with decades of service in law enforcement, the military, federal and state agencies, and private security. Collectively, our backgrounds span narcotics and organized crime investigations, homicide and major crime units, SWAT and crisis negotiation, executive protection, regulatory compliance, and private investigations. We have served in leadership roles with the Pennsylvania State Police, Attorney General’s Office, DEA task forces, correctional institutions, and security operations for schools, corporations, and high-profile events. TIMMIE PATRICK
Chief of Operations
With over 30 years in law enforcement, including 27 years as a Beaver County Detective, Timmie brings extensive experience investigating serious criminal cases, supervising high-risk operations, and testifying in major prosecutions. He served in the Beaver County ESU SWAT Team as an Operator, Team Leader, and Crisis/Hostage Negotiator, handling high-risk warrants and providing executive protection for national and local leaders. He has also worked closely with schools and colleges to ensure safety, conducting training in anti-bullying, suicide awareness, and active shooter preparedness.
BOB VEINOVICH
Director of Investigations
Bob brings a unique combination of military intelligence, law enforcement, and private security experience. He began his career as a U.S. Army intelligence analyst, working with the NSA and overseas in South Korea, and received the Joint Service Commendation Medal for his contributions during Operation Desert Storm. Bob went on to serve as a police officer and sergeant, specializing in homicide, burglary, robbery, and drug investigations, and became a key member of the DEA’s Tactical Diversion Squad, addressing controlled substance diversion and complex criminal conspiracies. He later served as an investigator for the Pennsylvania Bureau of Enforcement Investigations and as Director of Security and Compliance—and eventually COO—at Pennsylvania’s largest medical marijuana dispensary. Bob now applies his extensive experience as a private investigator and security consultant, providing physical security audits, regulatory compliance, and investigative services.
JOSEPH KOZLINA
Director of Compliance
Joe brings decades of law enforcement experience, having served in the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General in roles ranging from narcotics agent to Assistant Deputy Chief of the Bureau of Narcotics Investigation and Drug Control. He has led complex investigations into drug trafficking, firearms, gambling, and money laundering, coordinated large multi-agency task forces, and served as an expert witness in criminal cases. Joe has also taught criminal justice at both undergraduate and graduate levels, specializing in narcotics investigations, and currently applies his expertise in regulatory compliance and risk management. His extensive background in law enforcement and security makes him a trusted leader in operational strategy and protective services.
JOHN GILLIAM
Security Consultant
John “JR” Gilliam offers extensive experience in corrections, military service, and security. A U.S. Navy veteran, JR began his law enforcement career as a correctional officer at the Beaver County Jail before serving as a State Correctional Officer at the State Correctional Institution of Pittsburgh until his retirement in 2017. He holds Federal Security training and Act 235 certification and currently provides armed security within a school district. In addition to his professional experience, JR dedicated over 25 years as a volunteer football coach, demonstrating his commitment to mentoring and serving his community.
MIKE WARFIELD
Head of Security
A seasoned law enforcement professional with more than 25 years of experience, including 20 years in the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Drug Law Division and 18 years as a DEA Federally Deputized Task Force Officer. Throughout his career, Mike led complex drug law investigations, earned numerous awards for exemplary service, and coordinated multi-agency operations. Following his retirement from the State Police, Mike served as the Department of Justice Law Enforcement Coordinator for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Western District of Pennsylvania.
RYAN GAILEY
Legal Counsel
Ryan Gailey, Esq. serves as counsel to the company, providing legal guidance on security operations, investigations, compliance, and litigation strategy. Before entering the practice of law, Ryan spent more than a decade in law enforcement, rising to the rank of Detective Captain. In that role, he led major investigations into homicides and other serious offenses, earning multiple commendations for his service. This combination of courtroom experience and frontline investigative leadership gives Ryan a unique perspective on the legal and operational challenges of the security industry, allowing him to deliver practical, informed counsel that strengthens the company’s mission and operations.
